Robert Sabon Burtwell

Robert Sabon Burtwell, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on September 5, 2023, in Warren, Michigan. Born on May 10, 1951, in Royal Oak, Michigan, Robert's life was filled with joy, love, and countless cherished memories.

Robert was a man of many interests and passions. One of his greatest joys was spending time outdoors, especially indulging in his favorite hobby of fishing. His love for nature extended beyond fishing as he also took immense pleasure in carpentry. Robert loves spending time with his family where he enjoyed sharing a few beers and laughs. His family held a special place in Robert's heart. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.

Robert is survived by his loving wife Gail Burtwell, son Scot (Amy) Burtwell, daughter Kelly (Richard) Leslie, and son Keith (Rebecca) Burtwell. He was a proud and adored grandfather to Aidan, Madison, Nathan, Annabelle, Reagan, and Jackson.  He will be deeply missed by those who loved and knew him.
