Raymond Harry Wilder, born on January 19, 1930, in Detroit, Michigan, has peacefully passed away on April 20, 2024, in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
Raymond led a remarkable life defined by service and passion. A proud veteran, he honorably served in the Korean War and was discharged with distinction. His bravery and dedication to his country will never be forgotten.
Beyond his military service, Raymond found joy in the skies as a pilot for a decade. His love for flying allowed him to experience freedom and adventure among the clouds. Additionally, he had a deep connection to the water as an avid boater.
In his journey through life, Raymond was blessed with a loving family who meant the world to him. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Betty Elizabeth, daughter Debbie, brother Richard, and sister Barb. Raymond leaves behind his son Mark (June) Wilder and sister Patty to carry on his legacy.
Raymond will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him. A caring cremation was entrusted to Walter Scott Skupny Funeral Home, 28605 Gratiot Ave. Roseville, Michigan 48066.
