Madeline Lampar

Madeline Lampar, a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2025, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, at the age of 86. Born on August 8, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan, Madeline led a life filled with love, family, and culinary passion.

A devoted mother to Teal Marie (The late Dean Bambrick) Short, Rhodes (Justine) Short, and Tiffany (Michael) Gennety. She was a proud grandmother to Gary, Stephen, Jesse, Joshua, Danielle, Dylan, Allesandra, Seth, Carter, and Annie, all of whom she adored. She is survived by her beloved sister, Rachael (George) Rice, as well as numerous great-grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly.

Madeline was predeceased by her son, Gary Short, and her siblings Arthur, Paul, Nicky, Raymond, Joey, Carl, Mary Ruthie, and Martha. 

Madeline had a passion for cooking, a skill that she shared generously with her family and friends. Whether she was preparing family favorites or experimenting with new recipes, her meals were a testament to her love for those around her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all those who knew and loved her.
