Jim Bagley, age 64, was born on May 3, 1955 in Warren, Michigan and passed away on November 2, 2019 in Lansing, Michigan.
Jimmy was predeceased by his loving parents, Grover and Louise Bagley and his wife’s parents, Norman and Veronica Maul. He leaves behind his loving wife of 38 years, Connie Maul-Bagley. Also survived by his siblings Grover, John, Roberta, Mary and an extensive family of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, Aunts, and Uncles.
Jim was a loving and attentive husband who supported and encouraged Connie’s passion for horses from the beginning of their relationship. As their journey through life progressed, their mutual support and interests grew to include four-wheeling, tractor pulls, craft shows, travel, and many other shared joys.
Jim was a 45 year member of Ironworker’s Union Local #25, and a 35 year member of the Operating Engineer’s Union Local #324. Jim loved all things “heavy equipment” from a young age, and his remarkable ability to operate that equipment was recognized by everyone he worked with at Action Traffic Maintenance since June of 2004.
Connie would like to extend her heartfelt appreciation for the support that she received during Jim’s extended hospitalization.
Connie will be extending invitations to a private memorial service to be held at a later date.
Jim’s request for his remains to be cremated were honored by Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan. Please share memories with the family at the “On-Line Tribute Wall” of the Walter Scott Skupny Funeral Home @ skupnyfuneralhome.com.
