Elsie Schafer

Elsie J Schafer, age 93 was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 22, 1926 and passed away peacefully on June 4, 2020 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Twp. Dearest mother to Karyn, Sharon and John (Nikki). Treasured grandmother of Dara, Samatha (Adam) and Cara. Proud and adored great grandmother of John, Gia and Dax. Beloved wife of the late John.

Elsie belonged to a catholic religious club called “Saleslands” that is in Toledo. She also belonged to the “50 50” birthday club that celebrated birthdays by going out to lunch. Elsie loved cooking polish food for her family. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, warmth, genuineness, and most importantly, her unwavering love for her family. Elsie will be missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her.

Because of the covid 19 virus a memorial service will be held at a later date.
