Elizabeth St. Pierre passed away peacefully on January 20, 2024, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. She was born on October 26, 1935, in Roseville, Michigan.
Throughout her life, Elizabeth exhibited a remarkable dedication to her work. She retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan as a Legal Assistant after dedicating many years of service to the organization. Education played an important role in Elizabeth's life. She graduated from Roseville High School in June 1953 and went on to attend Michigan State College. Her thirst for knowledge and passion for learning guided her throughout her academic journey.
While Elizabeth achieved great success professionally and academically, she also found immense joy in giving back to her community. Her proudest accomplishments were reflected in the numerous volunteer positions she held with various organizations. Elizabeth selflessly dedicated her time and energy to volunteering regularly at the Macomb Center for Performing Arts, St. Joseph Hospital, Heartland Hospice, Residential Hospice, Michigan Cancer Society, and Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers. Through these endeavors, she made a positive impact on the lives of countless individuals.
In addition to her career and volunteer work, Elizabeth cherished her role as a beloved family member and friend. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald St. Pierre, ex-husband Rodolfo Volante, and cherished grandson Brian Greene.
Elizabeth leaves behind a legacy by those who survive her. She is survived by her devoted daughter Kimberly (Ian) Robinson; her brother Jack (Adriana) Kripl; granddaughter Stacey Greene; six great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren; stepchildren Cheryl (David) Findly, Janine (Clyde) Coffman, Kathryn (Douglas) Knapp, and Aaron St. Pierre; as well as her dear friend Sue Starrett.
Elizabeth will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her. A caring cremation was entrusted to Walter Scott Skupny Funeral Home 28605 Gratiot Ave. Roseville, Michigan 48066.
