Chuck (Charles Martin) Kaltwasser, a son, brother, uncle, and friend to many, passed away on January 7, 2024, in Detroit, Michigan. He was born on July 6, 1954, in Manhattan, Kansas, the son of Carl and Patricia Kaltwasser.
Chuck was a remarkable individual who lived his life with passion and kindness. He had an insatiable curiosity and was known for his love of meeting people from all walks of life. Chuck had an exceptional ability to engage in meaningful conversations about current events and politics. His intellectual skill as a researcher was admired.
In his free time, Chuck pursued his hobbies and interests with great enthusiasm. Whether engaging in conversations or pursuing his research endeavors, Chuck brought joy to those around him. His warm smile and genuine interest in others' lives endeared him to many. Chuck will be remembered as a kind soul who touched the hearts of everyone he encountered.
He is survived by his loving mother, Pat (Patricia F.) Kaltwasser; his siblings Jim (James Stanley) Kaltwasser, Carrie Kaltwasser and her husband Roy Zettlemoyer, Chris (John Christopher) Kaltwasser; as well as his cherished nephew Evan Hundelt and his wife Courtney and his niece Julia Kaltwasser. Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Carl Kaltwasser.
A Memorial Service will be held on February 10, 2024, at the Walter Scott Skupny Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Roseville, Michigan. The service will begin at 3:00 PM with a time for visitation from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
No floral arrangements or donations are necessary.
