Charlotte Boyd

Charlotte Marie Boyd (nee Courtemanche) age 88 was born on August 29, 1929 in Detroit. and passed away on January 15, 2018 at St John Hospital in Detroit.. Beloved mother of Barbara Ann Boyd Judd, Christine Marie Palland, Charles (Lori), Margaret (Anthony) Stadwick and was pre deceased by her husband Charles H. Boyd. She is also survived by her siblings Edward and Joan. Charlotte will be deeply missed by her 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She was a member of the Roseville School Board for many years and received a Certificate of Appreciation for her service with children. Charlotte was a major political force in the City of Roseville and ran in several elections. She was responsible for organizing the Macomb County bi-centennial celebration, served on many committees for the city and was the chairperson for Project Art for the City of Roseville.

Charlotte was a florist designer and owned a flower shop in Roseville and always showed her love for roses. She loved to dance, was a dance instructor and was a Roseville Band Booster for many years.

Charlotte will be missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her.

A cremation was entrusted to the Walter Scott Skupny Funeral Home, 28605 Gratiot, Roseville and will be followed by a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 4pm to 9pm at the Funeral Home. Share something special on the family’s guest book.
