 “Charles was a man whose heart beat to the rhythm of rock 'n' roll. His guitar was an extension of his soul, and his voice was a melody that brought joy and comfort to all who heard it. A dreamer and a free spirit, Chuck lived a life full of passion. His love for classic cars complemented his adventurous spirit as he reveled in fishing and boating. A self-proclaimed movie enthusiast, he cherished the stories and experiences that the screen provided. Charles also found joy in playing games, relishing moments of fun and camaraderie with friends and family.

He is survived by Wife: Mary Kay, children: Darrin (Mary), Briget, Deana, Raymond (Jennifer), Melissa (Dustin), Chaz, Michael and Michelle (Eric) who will forever hold his memory in their hearts. He was also a proud grandfather to Zepheyr, Sylas, Xidayne, Atlas, Ariel, Savanna, Ashton, Ethan, Noelle, Winter, Alyssa, Alexis, and Jacob as well as a great-grandfather to Nikolai. His sister, Dianne, also survives him.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Hazel, his brother Neil, and his grandson Justin.

A visitation in honor of Charles will be held on December 1, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Walter Scott Skupny Funeral Home & Cremation Services located at 28605 Gratiot Ave, Roseville, Michigan, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM that same day. His burial will take place the following day, December 2, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Great Lakes National Cemetery, located at 4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI.
