Carol Friant

Carol Joan Friant (Norris), age 80, passed away on December 2, 2016. She is survived by children: Margery (Stanley) Stasek, Salvatore (Sam) Lipari, Thomas (Sheila) Lipari, Rose (Gordon) Rossi, Charlene (David) Cowlin, Andrea (Daniel) Cobey, Caroline (James Genna) Trimble, Rachel (Jim Brewer) Stevens, and was pre deceased Cynthia Anderson (2006). Also survived by best friend of 30+ years Beverly (Dale) Taylor and 22 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren.

Carol loved watching the Red Wings Hockey Team, gardening, bingo, going to the Casino. In the summer she liked going to the Festival’s. Carol was known as a portrait colorist and worked for many studios doing mainly wedding & graduation photos 60 years ago. It was something she was very proud of. She was everyone’s mom and showed it by cooking for everyone. Carol will be missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 4 to 9pm followed by a Cremation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Walter Scott Skupny Funeral Home, 28605 Gratiot, 2 blocks south of 12 Mile Roseville. Please share a memory with the family on their on-line guest book.
