Bridget Impastato

Bridget Impastato, age 89, was born on October 8, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan. Bridget passed away peacefully on April 24, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late John Impastato. Dearest mother to the late Rose Ann (Larry) Skupny, Salvatore Impastato (Mark Bess), Patricia Impastato, and Angela Impastato (Gayle Megge). Loving grandmother of Karen (Chris) Dowgiert, Michael Skupny (Nick MacLeod), Angelina Megge-Impastato, Jake Megge-Impastato, and proud great grandmother to Christopher John Dowgiert.

Bridget was the eldest daughter to Michelangelo (Angeline) Gioia and Patrina Messina. Loving sister to Vito (Sharon) Gioia, Angela (Richard) Ficarra and the late Patricia (Marty) Pianko. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dearest brothers and sisters-in-law.

Bridget was a true matriarch to the family.  She loved cooking, hosting dinners, and spending time with her family and friends. Throughout her entire life she was selfless, giving, and dedicated to the Lord. Bridget has impacted many lives and will be greatly missed by all.

Due to the unprecedent circumstances, no in state service is scheduled.  In place, there will be a drive-up service at the, Church of Jesus Christ, Tuesday, April 28th, starting at 11am. Parking lot will open at 10:30am and close at 10:55am.
