Bettie Jenks

Bettie Jenks age 89 was born on January 12, 1931 in Johnstown Pennsylvania and passed away on March 17, 2020 at Fraser Villa Nursing Home. Survived by children Cheryl Johns (Sara Taylor), Michael (Cindy) Johns, Janice Johns, Lawrence (Cheryl) Johns, John (Donna) Johns, Gary (Christine) Johns and her faithful Jack Russell Terrier Jack. She was born to Virginia (nee Meighen) and Andrew Graham Baird.  Bettie is predeceased by her husband Elverton (Al) Joseph Jenks as well as her parents.  She was pre-deceased by her siblings.  Patricia, Mowry Smith, and brothers Charles Edward and Andrew Graham II. Treasured grandmother to Jason, Matthew, Paul, John Michael,  Brittany, Shannon, Lindsey, Julian, Michael, David and Nicole as well as five great grandchildren Ayiana, Landon, Natalia, Connor, Jozef and several nieces and nephews.  She was also predeceased by granddaughter Melissa Underwood.

Bettie was a member of the Clinton Rriver Garden club for 40 years and was a member of the Clinton Rriver Boat club. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, warmth, genuineness, and most importantly, her unwavering love for her family. Bettie will be missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her.
