Served in United States Navy on the USS Wood County 1178 from 1959 to 1962: worked for many years at Uniroyal: retired from J. L. Schroth Company. Loved his 1972 Plymouth Valiant Scamp, his Honda motorcycles, riding lawnmowers and tractors, and over 20 years of weekends and summers at the Big Sandy campground in Swanton, Ohio and his “family” there. Any and all animals, including cats, dogs, hamsters, rope fish and the squirrels he fed faithfully everyday on his front porch.
