Adalbert Swarthout

Adalbert Swarthout, 75, passed away November 12 at Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak. He was born May 3, 1938 in Detroit . He is survived by his children Luther (Joann) of Roseville, Lola (Norm) Bloomfield of Westland, Laura (Mark) Michalak of Wixom, Lorraine Knapp of Southgate and was pre-deceased Larry Joe. Also survived by siblings John (Marion), Jerry (Sharon), Julia (Bob) Childress, Jean (Ron) Plotzke and was pre-deceased by Jim and Jay. He leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.

He was a proud veteran of the Army and loved going to Cedar Pointe, Concerts, DJ'ing, Camping, Traveling and Hunting. His great grandchildren were the love of his life.

Visitation will be Thursday from 2-9 pm and Friday from 8-10 am at the Walter Scott Skupny Funeral Home, 28605 Gratiot, 2 blocks south of 12 mile, Roseville. Burial will follow at Great Lakes Cemetery in Holly, Mi. Memorial contributions may be made directly to the family.
